Entrepreneurial Spirit

Terry Sutherland and Victor Zvirzdys co-founded ImageSource® in 1994 with a little savings and a lot of perseverance. Terry began by selling conversion services to prospects looking to convert from paper to digital images. Victor managed the accounting records and kept the equipment functioning. They both wore many hats through the years as they built a profitable and respected business. By 1998, they had 15 employees and had built strong relationships with software and hardware manufacturers, which would prove critical in continuing to grow the business.

Terry Butler joined Financial Systems Products Corp. in 1986. FSP was a Canon Micrographics Dealer looking to take advantage of the personal computer revolution. In 1988, Terry began looking into a little known technology called 'document imaging' and found a company called Optika located in Simi Valley, CA. FSP began selling and installing the Optika FilePower line of products in 1990 and quickly began building an impressive customer list of Pacific Northwest corporations including Costco, Eddie Bauer, Unigard Insurance, Boeing and many others. Shadrach White joined FSP in 1990. He was responsible for leveraging the current document imaging install base by building more advanced document imaging and 'Workflow' applications on a national basis. Terry and Shad worked together to grow the business until the company was sold in 1998. Terry and Shad both worked in various capacities for other document imaging companies until they co-founded Axiom Systems, LLC. in 2001.

The Merger

In the fall of 2001, ImageSource and Axiom Systems merged to form a single entity. The combination of the two companies had a rare synergy. A unique entity in the ECM industry was born.

What has followed has been an extremely successful business venture that has its spirit deeply rooted in a love for entrepreneurship and innovation. From the management team to the help desk and beyond, our company believes in excellence and continued improvement.
